We here at Sky Sign Inc. have been receiving reports from people that a start up company has taken images and content from our web site without our authorization that is showing up on the Internet. Sky Sign has been in business for 33 years as of 2008. The company started in St, Louis, Mo. as Nite Sign Inc. In 1975, the company name was changed to Sky Sign Inc. and moved to Miami, Florida in 1982. The company relocated to Stuart-Palm City, Florida in 1993 where we have been to date (Our dated web site indicates we have been around a long while.)

After a long and tedious development, the Sky Sign Lap-Top sign operation is now a reality. Upgrading from the old V2000 computer is now available. You can pick a small or large laptop, what ever work best, for your individual needs. The laptop is opening up a whole new world of opportunities. Networking will be the name of the game with out new site Airspace Media .com coming soon. This will be a place where all Sky Sign operators around the world will come together with national and international advertisers, instant communications over the internet in the air or on the ground. This is about as exciting as it gets. Having a message request received and instantly displayed half way around the world, it just does not get any better than this.

LED lamps have been around a long time and major advances have been made in this field. We, here at Sky SIgn, never sit on the sidelines when there are new ideas and products that can advance the Sky Sign image.

After a long testing of all LED lamps that are available off the shelf, Super Bright and all the suppliers, it was determined that a Custom LED would be necessary. Once again we went to our lamp manufacturers in Japan and had them develop an LED second to none. Because of the timing characteristics of the new laptop and lamp driver a custom LED was necessary to get the extreme brilliance we wanted. The xenon lamp that we are currently using was custom designed for our needs and with it's lasting qualities along with the white brilliance in the dark sky, will be the lamp of choice by many users for a long time to come.

The white LED lamps are not a true white. They have a blue tint to them, and some people just do not like the appearance. The LED Lamps are more expensive to manufacture. However, they have 10 times or better life expectancy of the xenon lamps. Time will tell which lamps take the front seat.
